I happened to find Self Help Community Center (SFCC) by chance at google. I was surprised when I found it because the logo of Team Boravuth was so similar. I contacted with the director Sambath via e-mail and made an appointment to visit there. The center was about 30 minutes from Siem Reap and have many children to learn English, play soccer, grow vegetable etc. I was very impressed Sambath's effort to make this center successful and sustainable. Hope some children who like arts can come to the art class at Small Art School. It would be nice to collaborate with them near future. Check their video below. シェムリアップ付近のNGOを探していたら、偶然Self Help Community Center (SFCC) を見つけました。ウェブサイトを見てまず驚いたのが、１年前Team Boravuthを始めたときに考えたロゴとたくさんの類似点があったことです。早速ディレクターのサムバスさんと連絡を取って、会いに行くことにしました。シェムリアップからは約３０分ほどで、村の子ども達約４５０人が通いに来て英語やサッカーを海外から来るボランティアの人やカンボジア人スタッフと学んでいました。これだけの施設と子ども達をやりくりするのは財政的にも大変なことですが、サムバスさんの努力と情熱によってここまで成長できたのだと思います。今後ここの村からも絵を習いにきてもらえると嬉しいです。 下記のビデオをクリックしてご覧下さい。
